There are many events held around the State of Minnesota on Memorial Day to honor veterans. Memorial Day is a day for mourning the U.S. military personnel who have died while serving in the United States armed forces.

Fort Snelling National Cemetery; Monday, May 30th at 10:00 am.
Little Falls State Veterans Cemetery; Sunday, May 29, with music from the Richfield Symphonic Band beginning at 1:30 p.m., followed by the program beginning at 2 p.m.
Duluth State Veterans Cemetery; Sunday, May 29, beginning at 2 p.m.
Preston State Veterans Cemetery; Sunday, May 29, with music from the 34th Concert Band starting at 1:30 p.m., followed by the program beginning at 2 p.m.
